Odourless Mineral Spirit can be used to dilute your colors, but be careful, just what is necessary. Excessive dilution with little oil creates weak films and little binding power.

Ideal to dilute your colors and create your "underpainting". Fatter layers should be applied after it is too diluted with solvent. Use the fat over thin technique.

It can be used to create your mediums and remove excess paint from your brushes.

 

O solvente mineral inodoro pode ser usado para diluir as tuas cores, mas com cuidado e apenas o necessário. Uma diluição excessiva com pouco óleo cria películas fracas e com pouca capacidade de ligação.

É ideal para diluir as tuas cores e criar a camada inicial (underpainting). As camadas mais “gordas” devem ser aplicadas depois, quando a tinta já foi suficientemente diluída com solvente. Usa a técnica “gordo sobre magro”.
