The retouch varnish is used to revive colors when they lose their intensity during the drying process.
When painting in layers and it is necessary to have a general notion of the painting, it creates a homogeneous shine without generating a very thick film. The colors are at their maximum saturation and without differences in brightness.
It is also used when you want to restart the painting. It should be applied only when the colors are dry.

O verniz de retoque é utilizado para reavivar as cores quando estas perdem intensidade durante o processo de secagem.
Quando se pinta em camadas e é necessário ter uma visão geral da obra, cria um brilho homogéneo sem formar uma película espessa. As cores recuperam a sua máxima saturação sem diferenças de brilho.
Também é utilizado quando se pretende retomar a pintura. Deve ser aplicado apenas quando as cores estão secas.
